This self doubt bums me out for you. On some level I have it too and I blame that on what I’ve learned as a woman about being a woman. But you asked a curious question about how this doubt serves you. I love your answer, to surprise yourself. But I think doubt serves also to make sure your work is great. Doubt propels you to work HARD. Doubt is a high price, but it’s worked for you. Your work is great.

I was just thinking about all of this myself. I've been thinking, what right do I have to write publicly ever, at all? Am I not simply a laughing stock, ridiculous? Have been forcing myself to do it every day anyway but it's hard.
