Hi Sari, not sure if this is a good place to share, but this article about a synagogue on the lower east side struck me as the synagogue you recently referred to in a post:
I can hear the passion and that's usually a good sign. And congrats on all your new publicity! You're honestly one of the BIG reasons why I decided to get on Substack -- you showed me what good writing is here!
My two cents is that it does sound like you should do it, but first make a plan to hire someone to help you. Maybe make a list of all the things you do for your newsletters, and then separate out the things you could have someone else do or assist with. Taking on more might be the thing that requires you to delegate, and ironically you might create more time for yourself and reduce the chances of burnout as a result.

Nice! No, this is the one I lived in, which had been a Yeshiva, not a synagogue. https://www.villagepreservation.org/2015/11/17/landmarks50-295-east-8th-street/
Ah, sorry about that! I should have remembered yours had been a yeshiva.

Thank you, Lani. I think I might have figured out how to do this. Stay tuned. Glad you’re having a good experience.
YES you should do it. And YES you should get help and grow your empire! (Get it?)
I laughed many times reading this but never as hard as after this line: “get so excited about the possiblity, I could plotz.”
Is there no end to the perfection of Yiddish words? It’s so New Yawk!
Excited for all the possibilities Sari. And YES it does seem like this is the moment to do it.
😂
You don’t HAVE to do anything unless you unless really want to. I learned that from reading Oldster!
😍
You are amazing!

This is great advice, and I'm going to take it, Steph! Thank you. <3
