Congrats on cleaning your office and re claiming your space! So interesting to see all the different 'versions' of you. Have you ever thought about having any of the watches fixed so you can use them, or do you just enjoy them as objects? It might be interesting to mount them, picture frame/memory box style as art, as well.

Such an interesting life! I like how you show us the different sides of you and your interests over the years through the "relics" you found in your room. This is precious. I wish I could do that. Alas, multiple migrations have made most of my memorabilia disappear.
I understand completely the concept of clutter. I am a bit of a packrat. My office also looks like a time vault. The deeper I dig, the farther back I go in my writing career.
Unfortunately I am the lessor of keepers in my house. My wife holds on to things I would toss. Thus my office/den is only half mine. The other half is overwhelmed with a medley of things bought to be flipped on eBay.
Will I ever do a major clear out like you did? Will I ever face the clutter, sigh and dig in? Not today. I have a story to write.
Great article. I hope you are keeping some of the memorabilia, it is very special. I also agree that you could make great wall art with the watches in shadow boxes.

I used to get one fixed every now and then, but it's very expensive, and it's also difficult to rely on a non-battery watch.

Thank you, Louisa. And for sharing about your own experience.
That ukulele
duet was awesome!
Thanks!
Loved this so much!
Thank you!
Well, one of your watches was perfect for me, and I’ll always remember that gift, at the perfect time (no pun intended). ❤️
I forgot about that!! ❤️😘
I’m glad I found this post. I love your Oldster Magazine, but am happy to learn more about Musician Sari. I loved your duet, too.
Thanks, Liz!!! For all these kind words.
