This is truly the kind of essay I love to read, one that dives into lots of conflicting and opposing truths that somehow sit together nicely. I have a bunch of kids but they came to us through happenstance, later in life. And I love it. But I also know I could’ve loved a childless life with my husband, who is my everything. Even though our experiences seem different, I see myself here right along side you. Thanks for this beautiful essay.
