I just (like five minutes ago) found a list of "how to decide to stay or go" from a friend from my time in Florida in 2010. (I moved in 2012 back "home.") I'm getting your book now!

The first time I came across the name “Sari Botton” was when I set my eyes on “Goodbye to all that”. The second time was when I read an excerpt of “And you may find yourself” on “Monday Memoir”. The third time was when I found out Sari Botton was the editor I am submitting my first essay to. The rest is history. ❤️

Sari, you are absolutely right that we are at our best when we work on what we are passionate and curious about. And when we are at our best, money becomes an nonissue. I believe Steve Jobs said something similar. 😊

I love this idea! I was just talking about your Oldster questionnaire to my father ((77) and sister (42) and the questions resonated with them. We Hudson Valleyers would be overjoyed to attend a reading.

I have been absolutely loving Goodbye to All That -- I keep it on the ottoman that functions as my coffee table, and read a single chapter per day. I'm pretty sure that when I'm done, I'll just start over. And can you believe, I've never been to a group reading? That sounds like SO. MUCH. FUN. Go for it!

Love this idea and hope you can do regional events too. I’m happy to help out in Seattle.
