Ha ha ha! It never once occurred to me that 'filthy' would read in a way you didn't intend. Anyone who knows the city knows that it really is pretty filthy (except for Hudson Yards, which is more like an Oz annex than a real city.)

I probably would have been disappointed that the other one wasn’t…

Although I don’t see sex as filthy, online the word is linked to sex for me.

I don't think sex is filthy, but I think there are connotations that I would rather not have this particular newsletter associated with.
