Hi, Sari! I would be interested in being kept posted about the writing retreat you mentioned at the end of this edition that's beginning to unfold.... I'm in MA and my email is sarahspyblog@gmail ! :)
"Hiding inside my home for the greater part of three years has taken an emotional toll, and left me rusty at interacting with friends and acquaintances. I’ve been struggling for some time now to rebuild my social skills and connections...." This really resonates. Thanks for articulating it so clearly, as always. Glad the pool is helping remove the "rust."
Lord love a community pool and relearning being a person in the world! Hearing about these two of them (in Calif and NY) and their social aspects was really fun. Yes, there was some time in there to get rusty, eh. I'm around more people now at a new condo community and a new job; in both cases it's helping.
I’m so glad you joined that pool! Maybe I’ll join one day...
Join, Steph! Then we can hang out there together. <3
Loved hearing about the role the local pool is playing in brightening up your life.
Thank you!

Great! Will keep you posted, Sarah!
Love swimming laps in my community pool. Keep me in the loop on your writing retreat.
Will do!

Thanks for letting me know you get it, Kirie.

I'm glad you've found new places to commune with others after pandemic isolation!
